Species

Possible PC Species

Sea Zora
as Nayru's brood, Wisdom, ProudScholarRaceGuy, starts on banks terrain
Goron
as Din's brood, Power, BoisterousBruiser, starts on mountain terrain
Moblin
as Farore's brood, Courage, ProudWarriorRaceGuy, starts on forest terrain
Hyrulean
HumansAreAverage, BoringButPractical?, starts on plains terrain

Recruitable NPC Species

A loose culture you can attract individuals from; city-states you can ally with and assimilate.

River Zora
Loose culture, bandits.
Scrub
Loose culture, ProudMerchantRaceGuy.
Kokiri
Single city-state, HiddenElfVillage.
Lynel
Per-tribe city-states, WarriorPoet.
Goriya
Per-clan city-states, ProudSneakRaceGuy. Might be useful for providing the Wood Age/Stone Age techs for boomerangs… Or even just mining.

Other

Hylian
Use as precursors. Zelda does TronLines better than Tron.

Technology

Metals Of Antiquity

Gold
[Native]
Copper
[Native] [Bulk Ore]
Silver
[Native] [Bulk Ore]; ore is often an amalgam with mercury or in iron ore.
Lead
[LPN] [Bulk Ore]
Tin
[LPN] [Bulk Ore]; ore is still limited to specific areas.
Iron
[Meteoric] [LPN] [Bulk Ore]
Mercury
[Native] [Bulk Ore]; ore is often an amalgam with silver.

Incidence Types

[Native]
Occurs natively in relatively-large amounts.
[LPN]
Occurs in "low-probability native" deposits, small quantities or specific areas.
[Meteoric]
Occurs "natively" in meteors.
[Bulk Ore]
Occurs in large amounts as ore.

Techs

Food

If you have more than one farm type available, any farm site can be switched between them, and also allows setting all farms at once.

Crops include Grains(surface) and Bomb Flowers(surface or cave).

Agriculture I
Allows surface farm and cave farm sites, with "agriculture" type. Farms have ×1 production, ×1 depletion, ×1 labor.
Agriculture II
Agriculture farms have ×1 production, ×½ depletion, ×1 labor.
Agriculture III
Agriculture farms have ×1½ production, ×¼ depletion, ×1 labor.
Agriculture IV
Agriculture farms have ×2 production, ×0 depletion, ×1 labor.
Monoculture
Adds "monoculture" farm type. Monoculture farms have ×2 production, ×2 depletion, ×1 labor.
Slash-And-Burn Agriculture
Forests and jungles gain a "slash-and-burn" command, which turns it into a surface farm.
Long-Rotation Agriculture I
Adds "long-rotation" farm type. Long-rotation farms have ×1/36 production, ×0 depletion, ×1/36 labor.
Long-Rotation Agriculture II
Long-rotation farms have ×1/12 production, ×0 depletion, ×1/36 labor.

Power

Fire I
Each site can have a fireplace built, which provides Fire Power. It will be ignited if involved in a fire, or adjacent to a friendly site with an ignited fireplace.
Fire II
Each unit carries fire with it, and will ignite friendly fireplaces. However, each time the unit moves, they have a `1% chance of losing their fire. (Rises to `10% if traveling on water.)
Fire III
Each unit carries firestarting gear with it; site fireplaces gain an "ignite fireplace" command, and a toggle for the civ-wide "auto-ignite all fireplaces" order.
Fire IV
Each industrial site and research site can have a wind furnace built, which provides Fire Power II in high winds(otherwise just Fire Power). It gets ignited like a fireplace.
Fire V
Each industrial site and research site can have a furnace built, which provides Fire Power II.
Magma Tap
Each site can have a magma tap built, which provides Magma Power if the site has magma.

Metallurgy

If you have any [Fire Smelter] techs, each industrial site can have a fire smelter built. [Magma Smelter] techs similarly allow magma smelters.

Fire Copper Smelting
[Fire Smelter] Fire smelters can use Fire Power(or Fire Power II) to turn Copper Ore into Copper, or Tin Ore into Tin.
Fire Copper Alloying
[Fire Smelter] Fire smelters can use Fire Power(or Fire Power II) to turn Copper and Tin, Zinc Ore, or Arsenic Ore into Bronze.
Cold Iron Smelting
[Fire Smelter] Fire smelters can use Fire Power(or Fire Power II) to turn Iron Ore into Wrought Iron.
Hot Iron Smelting
[Fire Smelter] Fire smelters can use Fire Power II to turn Iron Ore or Wrought Iron into Iron.
Fire Iron Alloying
[Fire Smelter] Fire smelters can use Fire Power II to turn Iron into Steel.
Magma Smelting
[Magma Smelter] Magma smelters can use Magma Power to turn Copper Ore into Copper, Tin Ore into Tin, or Iron Ore into Iron.
Magma Alloying
[Magma Smelter] Magma smelters can use Magma Power to turn Copper and Tin, Zinc Ore, or Arsenic Ore into Bronze, or Iron Ore into Iron.

Theory

Tally Math
A starting tech for pretty much everybody; abstract numbers can be expressed, but not attached to things. Game effects?
Pictographic Math
Numbers of things can be expressed, with separate pictograms for "1 sheep", "10 sheep", "1 goat", etc. Basically tallies with types, and a separate number system for each thing. Game effects?
Place-Value Math
Reasonably-modern arithmetic,
Pictographic Writing

Dude says make archers available from the start, make granaries available with agriculture, have mathematics come from the wheel and writing (rather than wheel and archery), calendar come from writing, and have sailing and writing come directly from agriculture.
